Okay, let’s talk (write and read?) about why we built Emersen under the cover of darkness. It’s because of a huge issue headed toward every organization in the world right now: AI Readiness.
The short version:
Every leader we talk to is asking how AI-ready their company is. Most answer by looking at the tech: which tools, which platforms, which jobs. Almost nobody is looking at the people.
We’ve spent the last two years deep, deep, deep in AI. (Three deeps.) The biggest thing we learned is that being AI-ready isn’t the same as being good at your job.
Picture a team of four. Two are stars, and two are fine. Someone reads the headlines, keeps the stars, lets the other two go, and figures AI will pick up the slack.
But what if the two “fine” ones were the curious ones, the people who would have handed half the team’s busywork to AI? And what if the stars have zero interest in changing how they work? You just cut your AI readiness in half, and you’d never know, because nobody asked.
We want the organization and the people who work there not to make these mistakes. Really, we want the people to be inspired and successful. If they are then they will make the organization successful. It’s the perfect symbiotic relationship.
That’s why we built Emersen. It talks with everyone in your organization, by voice, and shows you where your people actually are, along with what drives readiness: trust, leadership, and whether people feel supported. That’s a culture question more than a tech one, and culture is what we’ve been measuring for years.
Readiness isn’t a verdict or some kind of check-the-box exercise that the tired old consulting firms are pushing. It’s a starting point, a continuous process that will change evolve and adapt over the next few years.
